These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Computer IT Point’s free computer support services, located at computeritpoint.com.

By availing our services, we assume you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use Computer IT Point’s services if you do not accept all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Service Agreement (सेवा समझौता)

Computer IT Point provides complimentary (free of cost) basic software troubleshooting and repair services exclusively for its currently enrolled students. This service is offered as a goodwill gesture to support our students in their academic journey. This is not a commercial service and is provided on an “as-is” basis.

2. Eligibility (पात्रता)

This free service is strictly limited to individuals who are currently enrolled as students at Computer IT Point. We reserve the right to ask for proof of enrollment before providing any service. This service is not available to the general public.

3. Scope of Free Service (निःशुल्क सेवा का दायरा)

Our free support covers basic software-related issues on laptops and desktop computers. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting issues with applications like Tally, MS Office, etc.
  • Resolving common Windows/OS errors.
  • Assistance with antivirus software.
  • Fixing slow performance issues through software optimization.
  • Guidance on proper software installation.

Services NOT covered (शामिल नहीं हैं):

  • Hardware Repair: We do not provide any hardware repair, replacement (e.g., screen, keyboard, battery), or upgrades.
  • Data Recovery: We are not responsible for recovering data from physically damaged or non-functional hard drives.
  • Cracked/Pirated Software: We will not install or troubleshoot any illegal, pirated, or unlicensed software.
  • Network/Internet Issues: We do not fix issues related to your internet provider or home network setup.
  • Printer or other peripheral device support.

4. Student’s Responsibility (छात्र की ज़िम्मेदारी)

Before handing over your device for any service, you (the student) are solely responsible for the following:

  • DATA BACKUP: It is your absolute responsibility to back up all your important data (documents, photos, software, etc.) to an external drive or cloud storage. Computer IT Point will not be responsible for any data loss, corruption, or deletion that may occur during the repair process.
  • Software Licenses: For any software installation or re-installation, you must provide the legitimate license keys or installation media.

5. Limitation of Liability (देयता की सीमा)

Since this is a free-of-cost service provided in good faith, Computer IT Point, its owners, and its staff shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption arising out of the use or inability to use our services.

6. No Warranty (कोई वारंटी नहीं)

All services are provided without any warranty, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our troubleshooting will permanently fix the issue or that the same issue will not reoccur.

7. Right to Refuse Service (सेवा से इनकार करने का अधिकार)

Computer IT Point reserves the right to refuse service to any student if:

  • The requested service falls outside our scope of free support.
  • The device has been tampered with or has signs of physical damage that could complicate the software repair.
  • The student is uncooperative or requests any illegal activity (e.g., installing pirated software).

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
